Faith in Christ

This past Friday was an amazing experience.. It was me putting all of my trust in God. Last Friday my manager approached me and said that productivity was really low in the OR so, that meant getting rid of the contingent people. Me being one of the contingent people. Soo I am very understanding and telling her thats fine .. So I went in the back hallway and I sat and prayed.. I prayed saying, Father right now I am putting everything in your hands, and this is all in your will.. For some reason you've allowed this to happen and I am giving it all to you and you will provide.. And then I thanked Him... about 45 mins later my manager came up to me and said I have great news.. Sterile Processing really needs people so they can orient you down there.. Right then I had a job again.. I left work that day in such amazement at how I handled the whole situation..I didn't get mad or frustrated..I trusted in the Father.

Pennsylvania

Visiting April and Philip was great fun.. I really enjoyed myself and it was extreamly relaxing.. Well here are some pictures of us the one is us getting onto the ski lift and the other is in front of April and Philips house.. Which is extreamly cute. I will have to say they did a great job decorating and it was very comfortable. Thank you guys for a wonderful wonderful weekend..

Standing for Him

This morning I am driving to work and I'm praying and just asking God to really keep me focused on Him... I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I was walking by the windows at work and I look outside and it was incredibly beautiful.. The clouds were soo dark and yet the sun was still able to shine through them.. I was really dark and yet there was this orange glow that shone on the buildings.. And I'm thinking WOW! God this is soo beautiful.. And for awhile I kept pondering and thinking.. He created that, and how it means soo much more knowing that.. Also keeping HIm in mind I talked with an EMT student and we were talking about the ministry and how he was involved with the youth at his church.. Mean while there is another emt instructor sitting with us listening to us talk.. I was telling them about the NY trip and the camps in the summer and the retreats.. I also talked to them about my testimony.. which was awesome, i think i made the instructor think about how God can really change a person.. So anyway its been a test for me to talk about Christ and really put my Christianity out there at work.. and I have been, I am seeing growth in my spiritual walk..I am excited about it:) I am also excited to go and visit April and Philip this weekend!! Sorry that was a random side note but it had to be expressed.. Well i am off to bed..

The New Year

2006 is here..What is to come? What's gonna happen? I never used to ask these questions but now that there have been soo many changes in the past year and I'm asking them now...God has taught me a whole bunch this past year. I still find it crazy that I just graduated! Crazy... Also God really put me where I needed to be, spiritually and physically ie...moving into the apartment..I wouldn't have even guessed that I would move out of my parents house soo soon. And that I would be working at the hopspital..It's amazing how I have grown a lot as a person and with Christ.. I can honestly say I spend more time HIm and read the Word more and I have memorized more..I have been truly blessed and I can't thank my Lord enough for what he has given me.. So I want to glorify Him back..and that is what I intend to do this "new year" and also for the rest of my life.. and I have to end this post cuz I have to go to the bathroom and I am leaving soon soo I have to go..

Late Night Laughter

Soo.. I didn't go to bed last night until 12:30 ish.. Yeah amy and I were laughing soo hard, like almost throwing up and coughing soo hard.. HOnestly i can't really say what exactally what we were laguhing at. We laughed at how i was talking, and what happened? and ohh what else.. ohh, "the touch, the feel of cotton, the fabric of our lives.." and "merry Christmas.." in our Aaron Nevill voice.. It was really funny.. If you don't know who Aaron Nevill is , he is the voice who sings the cotton commercial songs... Yeah its hard to explain but it was incredibly funny.. Oh and mind you i also had to work today.. So i was really tired and i went into work and they didn't need me.. Soo i worked for an hour if that and i came home.. so late night laughter + no sleep+ going to work when i didn't need to= annoyed.. haha jk but yeah well i am going to go and do something.. Ohh and Merry Christmas to everyone and i love you all!!

ahh.. Work

Work... Today was a good day at work.. technically we didn't really "work" . We had our Christmas party.. and it lasted almost all day.. It was lots of fun.. But My favorite part was when i seran wrapped my friend phillips car.. Ohh it was soo great. First I must explain the motives behind the wrapping..Phillip is this huge 300lb extreamly nice black man who always picks/beats/messes with me all the time(haha yes i know).. Not to say that i am innocent but i do at times instigate and start our battles.. Such as hitting and punching and pinching.. But ya know what.. It doesn't even phase him! Ohh and not to forget that on monday he gave me an atomic wedggie! Ohh yeah like picked me up by the back of my pants and hoisted me in the air, and continued the tourcher by bouncing me!! Yeah i would have to say that was a painful experience... Soo today i seran(sp?) wrapped his car.. Like all the way around and on the top.. just all over the place! It was soo good and i put a pretty bow on it too:) yea i have definately left my mark at Grant Medical Center! Everyone in the whole hospital was talking about it.. ahh.. work. It was lots of fun and i am soo tired because of it.. but that was my day at work.

Bored

It's snowing outside and it looks amazing.. I love that God created something soo beautiful yet soo simple. Also I am currently watching A Christmas Vacation.. Which reminds me soo much of my family.. Just the craziness of the family and how our family can be incredibly wierd! Yeah maybe not to the extent of the whole r.v and the cat thing, but the loudness and the christmas light and soo on.. My dad always had to put up the Christmas lights and they had to be precise.. But anyway.. Well I am tired and I have to get up early for work tmw! I know it will be busy so I need my rest.. Good night to all

Yes the Mac-and-cheese...

Yeah.. As steph said.. I struggled with making macaroni and cheese. I hope when I get married my husband will know how to cook because obvoiusly I can't. Well while amy was fixing stephs hair.. I was makin the mac and cheese.. I put the water in( 6 cups) like the box said. Then it called for 4 tbsp of butter/spread or whatever.. Soo i toss that in with the water. Well it also called for 1/4 a cup of milk.. Looking at the pyrex cup i see 1/4 but it was at the top of the glass.. I ended up adding 1 1/4 a cup of milk.. But i added this all with the water and boiled it with the macaroni.. yes i know, how could i do that.. So i dump it out.. and then i kept contemplating whether or not i should even continue making it cuz it was soo bad.. Plus steph and amy were laughing at me and i was too .. Yeah I ended up making it and yet i still messed it up but adding too much milk once again. it was runny but it was still good. But yeah that was my pathetic experience with mac and cheese:) well i've gotta go and take a showa!

Ohh the things I do for Amy...

Its about 1:00pm and Amy calls me and asks me if if she had left her haircutting stuff at the house.. mind you she is going to go cut someone's hair so the scissors and such are eccential. So I look and yes, she did leave it on the table. So I told her when she comes back I'll bring the "suitcase"(the thing with the hair stuff in it) out to her so she doesn't have to. She pulls into the alley and I put on a pair of clogs to run out to give it to her.. For a visual. I am wearing pj pants, clogs and a light jacket.. So I ran out to give it to her and, there is a small hill right outside of the house.. I slipped down the hill. First I slid a little down the hill then. BaM! i'm on my butt in the snow.. yes, with my pj's on and everything. So i open the door and Amy at that point was laughing histerically, and i give her her stuff and i say " ohh the things i do for you!" haha it was really funny.. But it doesn't end there. So i shut the door and I trip and fall again into the snow and then as i try to get up I keep slipping... Gosh i looked soo stupid. So to get up the extreamly small hill, i am on all fours crawling up the hill cause i obviously couldn't walk up. So i get up and I look back at amy one last time and she is still laughing histerically. At that point , so was I. I was wet, my pj pants were soaked,my socks were wet, and my feet were freezing! But it was really really funny.. I called amy shortly afterwards and we just laughed for about 5 mins on the phone.. It was great though..... thank you amy for such an entertaining day.. I hope you all enjoy

Thank Goodness it's Friday!

I didn't think 3:00 would ever come! Today was really slow.. i thought this week has gone by really fast and then today.. it.. was soooo s-l-o-w. But it was still a good day. WOW the snow outside is sooo beautiful. It snowed probably 2-3 inches, 3 at the max. But it looked soo cool last night.. Amy and I were looking everywhere for a camera so we could take a picture of it.... We tried asking cara if she left it home and she had it with her! So we couldn't take any pictures.. Sorry you all cannot see the pictures of how cool it looked last night.. Ohh well those of you who live in Ohio have seen it already. Well my butt is getting numb from sitting soo i will stand up so i can get some circulation going... J/k but my butt really does hurt ..plus i have to go check on the laundry..

Heavy Eyes

... This is my first post! I was very hessitant of making a blog because I was afraid nobody would read these.. So I went ahead and did it anyway. Well... today at work was rather amusing. We got a free "Christmas" dinner/lunch and the lines were horrible!! It was soooo crazy... But I stood in line anyway, I mean.. its free food. It was pretty good, plus you got desert too! But anyway that was the highlight of my day. I was extreamly tired today for some reason. You know when your eyes are really heavy when you first get up in the morning? Thats how they were alllll day. Everyone kept asking me if i was ok.. I couldn't figure out why.. And it was because I had heavy eyes. I looked like I just got out of bed. Soo that was fun. Well I'm rambling soo I'm going to go before i start typing stupid random stuff.....
